do you ever just get a vibe that someone has a crush on you and then you’re not sure if they actually do or if you’re just really really self-absorbed

Michael Grab has mastered the art of stone balancing. He explains how he does it. “The most fundamental element of balancing in a physical sense is finding some kind of “tripod” for the rock to stand on. Every rock is covered in a variety of tiny to large indentations that can act as a tripod for the rock to stand upright, or in most orientations you can think of with other rocks. By paying close attention to the feeling of the rocks, you will start to feel even the smallest clicks as the notches of the rocks in contact are moving over one another. In the finer point balances, these clicks can be felt on a scale smaller than millimeters. Some point balances will give the illusion of weightlessness as the rocks look to be barely touching. Parallel to the physical element of finding tripods, the most fundamental non-physical element is harder to explain through words. In a nutshell, I am referring to meditation, or finding a zero point or silence within yourself. Some balances can apply significant pressure on your mind and your patience. The challenge is overcoming any doubt that may arise.”

This is either earth bending or witch craft

"It snowed a lot this year I take it?"

"Yes.  Are the winters mild where you are?"

"There’s hardly any difference.  It’s cool, like during the spring in Kirkwall."

"Well, I suppose I brought you a piece of winter then."

still mad that Feynriel never like apologizes and makes up with his mother in-game or drops by and visits her in dreams, so this was drawn in part to soothe my frustration about that

Every time I see something like “oh but Anders doesn’t care for the slaves, he doesn’t aknowledge the elves’ plight, etc” I feel confused as hell, because apparently I missed the part where he proclaimed himself a new messiah and promised to right every wrong in Thedas, including saving every kitten stuck on a tree and every child who got robbed of their ice cream.

The mage cause was the main reason for his merger with Justice, and it’s still a huge task, no matter how dedicated he is, and still barely anyone cares in-game. Once he opens his mouth, though, there’s always a handful of fans ready to shove other “more important” Thedosian social problems into his priority list.

Too true. He’s chosen his battle, and picked the hill where he’ll die, figuratively speaking. Other causes have their own advocates, and arbitrarily assigning them all to Anders simultaneously robs the other companions of their uniqueness and dilutes Anders’ character.

The best part? Is that two of the companions are elves, ONE OF WHICH IS A FORMER SLAVE. And guess what? Neither of them really care either.

Fenris hates Slavers. That doesn’t mean he’s ready to fight for every slave in Thedas. or even wants to. His arch is about personal freedom.

Merrill is Dalish, a “free elf” and she could give shitall about the alienage elves. in fact it takes till act 3 before she even really bothers to take notice. Her arc is about fixing a mirror who stole her friend(s) under the guise that it’s part of her lost heritage. Another personal selfish arc.

And yet people get mad at Anders for only being worried about Mages..
